Baylor Youth Cue Festival

From Friday, February 22 – Sunday, February 24, 2008, our Chapel Choir (high school students) will participate in the Baylor YouthCue Festival in Waco, Texas.  This exciting musical opportunity is sponsored by YouthCue, the nation’s leading Church Youth Choir organization.  During the weekend, the students will rehearse with 300 other students, work with nationally known directors, fellowship with each other, and present a special program on Sunday with the Baylor Symphony Orchestra.

The total cost for this trip is $60 and a $35 deposit is due no later than Sunday, November 4, 2007.  This cost includes event costs, lodging, food, and transportation.

Chapel Ensemble Auditions This Sunday

This Sunday at 4:00 p.m. we will have Chapel Ensemble Auditions during our regular Chapel Choir rehearsal.  If you are interested in auditioning for the Chapel Ensemble, be prepared to sing America the Beautiful, sight read some some music, and do some ear training.

Rehearsals Begin for the Fall

The Student Music Ministry of FBC Keller began its rehearsals recently and we are excited about the opportunities that God has in store for us this year.  The major announcement is that our Middle School and High School Ensembles will be more independent this year and will both go on separate tours.

Here are the different ensembles and when they meet.
