Baylor YouthCue Wrap Up

From February 22 – 24, 2008, members of our Chapel Choir traveled to Waco, Texas and participated in the Baylor YouthCue Choir Festival.  Our students joined others from all over the country to form a 300 voice choir that was accompanied by the Baylor University Orchestra.

After two days of long rehearsals, our students led in worship at First Baptist Church Waco on Sunday morning.  That afternoon, the choir and orchestra presented the Grand Concert featuring the work In His Own Words.  This work consisted of several movements with lyrics directly from the words of Christ found in the gospels.
