Hello Love

Hello Love is the latest musical offering from renowned worship leader Chris Tomlin.  This new CD follows in the tradition of earlier works Arriving and See the Morning.  Tomlin’s music is well-loved throughout churches everywhere, including FBC Keller.  But don’t expect reworked songs from previous CD’s.  The songwriting here is strong as usual, but it’s obvious that Chris Tomlin continues to grow as a musician and worship leader.  Make sure you listen to God of This City, a passionate prayer for God to move locally, not just throughout the world.

Combined Choirs Leading in Worship

The PraiSingers and Chapel Choir will lead in evening worship on Sunday, September 28th at 5:30 p.m.  We will be singing Raise Up the Crown (click link for audio).  Students will need to wear their white Student Music Ministry t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans.  The dress rehearsal will be at 4:00 p.m on September 28th.  It’s very important that every participate in our first worship leadership opportunity of the year.

Fuel groups will be meeting on campus that evening, so you will not miss Fuel because of this worship leadership opportunity.  If you have questions or will not be able to participate, please contact David Toledo or Stacy Porter as soon as you can.

We are working on some great music this year in Chapel Choir!  We try to find a healthy balance of things that will be familiar to you as well as challenge you to stretch your music abilities and tastes.  All of it works together to help us learn to praise God better!  You can listen to recordings of the songs by clicking the links below:

Chapel Choir Rehearsal Sign Up

Because we feel so strongly about adults and students building relationships in the Student Music Ministry, we want to have an adult sponsor in each Chapel Choir rehearsal this fall semester.  Your participation is a key to the overall success and health of the Student Music Ministry.  When you attend a rehearsal, some of the tasks you will do include taking attendance, passing out materials, and taking care of any student needs.
