Hallelujah to My King

October 29, 2008

On Sunday, November 9th, the Chapel Choir will sing Hallelujah to My King in all three morning worship services.  It is very important that every singer participates in this worship leadership opportunity.  We are singing from memory, so make sure you listen to the recording and look over your music when you get the chance.

You will need to meet in the sanctuary at 7:25 a.m. wearing Sunday best.  Please no tennis shoes, jeans or t-shirts.  We will have rehearsal that afternoon!

The Holidays Are Coming!

October 29, 2008

It is hard to believe, but the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays are quickly approaching.  Our Student Ensembles have some exciting opportunities to lead in worship over this holiday season, and you don’t want to miss out on them.  First of all, we will not have rehearsals on Wednesday, November 26th or Sunday, November 30th.  Enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday with your family!

Our Student Ensembles have three major worship leadership opportunities in December.  First, on Wednesday, December 17th several of ensembles will lead the 180 Student Christmas Worship Service.  On Sunday, December 21st the Chapel Choir, PraiSingers, Chapel Ensemble, and Student Orchestra will provide all of the music for the three morning worship services.  That night, the Chapel Bells and PraisRingers will participate in our annual Ring and Sing Christmas Handbell Program.

As you can see, we have a lot going on this holiday season.  Make sure that you attend every rehearsal you can so that we can all give our best for God’s glory!
