Adult Volunteer Opportunities
August 3, 2009
One of the most crucial elements of the FBC Keller Student Music Ministry is the interaction between our students and compassionate, concerned adult volunteers. There are many ways for parents to be involved, and they don’t require a lot of time.
We have the following ministry opportunities for parents:
- Food – it takes a lot of food to keep our students going! Every time we sing on Sundays and occasionaly in rehearsal, we provide breakfast or snacks for our students.
- Rehearsal Attendance – we like to have a parent in each rehearsal to help with anything the director might need and to invest in the lives of students.
- Prayer Partner – the spiritual growth and development of our students is the primary focus of our ministry. As a prayer partner, you will receive a list of students that you will commit to pray for on a regular basis.
- Planning & Publicity – it is important to help get the word out about upcoming events. These volunteers will work with our choir officers and leadership in promoting Student Music events.
- Student Contact – it’s important that students are contacted regularly by our adults via mail, email, Facebook, text message, etc. These parents will assist the leadership in communicating with students.
- Fellowships – we try to plan several fellowship opportunities where our high school and middle school students can connect. If you would be willing to assist with these fellowships or would potentially agree to host one, please let us know.
If you are interested in serving in any of these areas, please complete the form below.
