Leadership Team

Our Student Music Ministry is led by adults who are committed to investing in the lives of middle and high school students.  It’s our belief that the experience and music that the students learn in their years in the Student Music Ministry will set a sure foundation for the rest of their lives.  This foundation is based upon God’s word and held strong by relationships with with their brothers and sisters in Christ.

David Toledo is the Associate Minister of Music at FBC Keller and has led our Student Music Ministry for several years.  He leads our Chapel Choir and oversees the ministry as a whole.  He and his wife Lindsey love spending time with their family and friends as well as pouring their lives into music making with the students.

Patty Nelson oversees the Middle School area of our ministry.  She serves as the Director of Church Music Education at FBC Keller and directs our Worship Arts for Kids Program and Fine Arts Academy.  Patty holds a BA in piano and an MM in Church Music.  She and her husband, Ed Nelson, have been married for 26 years and have two children: Michal, a music major at Baylor University and Tres, a senior at Carroll Senior High School.   She loves quilting and going on choir tour

Stacy Porter serves First Baptist Church Keller as the director of both the PraiSingers and 5th Grade WAK.  This year will mark her 20th year of teaching in either public school choir or church choirs.  Stacy and her husband, Matt, have been members of FBC Keller for over 7 years and have 3 sons—David, Robby and John. In addition to teaching choir, Stacy also enjoys cooking, baking, reading and all kinds of music.  Although not a member of any church-related bell ensemble, Stacy is a Wii Music Handbell Harmony expert and enjoys defeating family members on a regular basis.  She also tries to avoid cleaning at all costs.   Stacy is looking forward to serving the Lord through music with the students of FBC Keller!  To God be the glory!

Lindsey Toledo is the director of our Chapel Bells handbell ensemble.  Lindsey has been an active member our student music ministry for many years and has been on every choir tour for the past 14 years!  She and her husband David live in Keller along with their dog Bailey.

The director of the PraisRingers and the 180 Praise Band, Mark Arnold, brings many years of instrumental music experience to our leadership team.  On any given Sunday, Mark can be found singing in the choir, playing french horn in the orchestra, playing bass in the praise band, or leading an handbell ensemble.
